Eagle Model | 1/100 | ZGMF-X56S/α Force Impulse Gundam

This is a good model kit to experience.

The best thing about this one is its looking. Apparently, it is made after the Yujiao Land resin upgrade so it has the best looking in the market. That is the outer part, for the inner, we have metal frame which is sturdy and well built to reinforce it. The version I built even has a coating to carry the Impulse gundam further into the land of perfection. Like 12/10 for the appearance alone.

The building experience can be split into two phrases like a boss fight.

The body is satisfying to work on. With good quality plastic and well crafted design, I didn't encounter any trouble while assembling any part of it, from head to daggers. If we are going to be nitpicking then I would say the skirts are tough to put in place as they need some forces. Well yeah and the collar armor is stupid lol

Then, the difficult part: backpack. The metal bits are somehow stubborn than the body's. They refuse to go into their places while you would need additional tools to help. Once they are in, you move them around a bit and now they are a bit loose haha If I have to put the score on them, body would be 8.5/10 whilst backpack will be 6/10.

The base is bland. But huge. It's a huge plastic chopping-board with nothing there. Probably my least favorite base ever.

The water slides can be used with the Bandai's MG Force Impulse manual for the parts with number (letter?). However, you would need to improve in a lot of places because the shape of armor parts have changed. The claws are nice additional surprises but they might not need on the kit. I prefer the original Force Impulse without them.

Eagle Model's Force Impulse is not for newbie by no means. Honestly, with some experience on MG line and some China brands might make your life easier. After all those troubles (only the backpack though), you have an awesome Shinn Asuka's mobile suit to display.
