The MGSD line up has been awesome so far. The next kit is better than the previous and the quality was already solid from the start!
I planned to wait for Delpi's hologram decals but I can't, it is way too tempting look at this beauty everyday so EVO is the way to go. Sorry, Heero.
The plastic quality is noticeable. The frame is sturdy and the snapfits are firm . This is consistently happening for the three of them: Freedom, Barbatos, and Wing Zero EW. You may look at the cheap bootleg ones and think "this is good enough" but once you get your hands on a Bandai's MGSD... You will see what I'm talking about.
The design of mobile suit body remains almost the same from MG kit except the wings. They are bearing more details with the detaching mechanism to show off the inner crystal!
The best thing about MGSD line is: while they are detailed like a MG, the difficulty is only a bit higher than a SD one. It's quite friendly to newbies with the design. Parts are easy to cut off from runner using simple nipper. Not many nubs require handling. Everything comes together with a slight push then they will stay there till the end of time.
So... what's the bad stuff about this model kit?
It needs a base, or a stand, which is compatible with its connector. It's a bit shame because you will have a rough time trying to pose your Wing Zero EW without it. I mean, you would get one for the flying pose anyway but I wish the is one packaged with the kit like the Ver Ka one. And that's it.
